I just saw tomorrow's forecast for London.

It's safe to say I won't be cycling to work tomorrow.

I hope the transport isn't affected too much because there is some stuff particularly close to my heart that I need to do tomorrow.

(Too many "tomorrows", apologies)

I'm thinking of booking a days holiday tomorrow, then getting out on the bike to set a new record time to York aided by an 80mph tail wind.

I'd be coming back on the train, obviously...

Plans abandoned - boss wouldn't let me have the day off.

Shame, as it's just over 15 miles to central York from my door, so allowing for time to get up to the main road and slowing down for the roundabout at Bramham crossroads, I reckon I could have done it in around 15 minutes with most of it cruising at a steady 80mph...;)

I'll be riding in. My forecast headwind at home time is 55mph. I may get Mrs Dave to pick me up. I'm not worried about the effort of cycling or the other traffic, it's the trees potentially dropping on my head that worries me!

Am I the only one mad enough to brave it tomorrow? Every time I cry off because of threatened weather its always never as bad as they say.

I have to walk, with MrsPete, to vote in our local referendum.. I hope we don't get blown there.. or back, depending on which way Doris turns up!

Agree with that, Last one we had I think my green wheelie bin moved about 7 cm down my drive. Horrific.
