Holding your breath while going through the Clyde Tunnel has been a game ever since it opened over 60 years ago, and takes about a minute.

Every parent in Glasgow teaches their children this, so that sign is a local joke.

Seems a good thing to practice in case you have to swim through if it's flooded

It reminds me of a comedy skit, where someone wins a lot of money, is presented with one of those super-large novelty cheques, brings said cheque into a bank, and then receives super-large bank notes.
