I get up to Silloth at least four times a year for work but I've never been to Skinburness, I'll have to make a detour next time.

To be fair, I don't think you are really missing much.

I like Silloth for a day out, but I avoid staying there at night. I usually stop down the road in Cockermouth, some nice pubs there and a decent Indian.
