I've been on the Lewes-Cape May ferry a few times, and the seagulls hover over people and try to get their food. I ate at a McDonald's outside patio. A brazen white egret was walking around and staring at people, hoping for food. I broke off a piece of bun and offered it, but it was rejected. So I broke off a piece of the burger and as I started to hold it out, the egret very quickly grabbed it out of my hand.

Aside from anything else, why would anyone put that sign on the outside of the door? 🤷‍♀️
