Strava question

I've mostly been using Strava to keep track of my routes and milage. But it's fun to get PRs. I do two kinds of rides, one where I go as fast as I can and one where I stop to admire the scenery, take photos, people watch etc. Even when I go as fast as I can, I still have to allow for other road users and traffic conditions, or when I'm on a cycle path, look out for pedestrians, dogs etc and other cyclists who don't know to keep to the left.

I mostly only do the stoppy, photography rides now.

Strava segments and times and all of that stuff, make me giggle. I found out a way of getting a guaranteed KOM though. Create a 170 mile segment, make it as convoluted as possible, include loads of hills, bingo, very little chance of anyone getting it off of you:laugh:.

You shouldn't set us challenges

Cos the idiot said he's a woman when registering...make a sarcastic comment on his effort ;)

I've got one where I'm second woman, the first one was quite evidently Travelling with motorised assistance, significantly quicker than the fastest male, although perhaps a cynic...something like 33mph up a hill...yeah right. Although to be fair, generally she doesn't look a bad cyclist

I like looking at the placings...I dragged myself along a draggy slight incline the other day...I got a PR, the QOM about twice as fast as me...one Joanna Rowsell who's local :notworthy: she has a gold postbox around a mile from here :okay:

I made a comment about him being a girl and the cheeky so and so has sent me a follower request!!
