I got that e-mail, or a very similar one, from them as well and deleted it.

I'd like Strava to continue to be a the cold, clinical and soul-less place it always has been. It is bad enough having the suggested atheletes bit taking up loads of screen space.

What is the feature?

I think it was called Athlete Posts, it was a notification in the app, not an email for me.

Ask questions, post race reviews, talk about equipment and training etc.
