Latest viewing figures show YouTube is becoming the choice of many. Theres a fair bit of cycling on there if you look for it with highlights etc. by TNT Cycling and many races put up there own.

I can’t believe what they are asking per month, to avoid their frequent little ad breaks. As far as sport is concerned, they appear to go out of their way to place them at the most disruptive points in the action.

Even with premium you get 'sponsor ads'.
Me, I have the mute button always ready.

Sometimes the presenters are upfront and say that they are about to mention their sponsor, but sometimes they slide it in so craftily that it takes a while to realise that the review (whatever) has morphed into an ad!

I find that often the sponsorship stuff can be skipped with a couple of clicks rather than having to fast forward past it. You can skip 10 seconds at a time very easily so providing that you have fast broadband it doesn't take much to NOT have a word from the sponsor!! (Each YT channel already get a share of my Premium subscription so I don't see why I should have to watch ads as well.)

Very occasionally, the sponsored product IS of interest though so I give them 3 or 4 seconds to convince me, and move briskly on if they don't.

I hadn't spotted that option! I pay for full Premium. It is quite expensive but I use YouTube a lot so it is worth it.

I was sick over christmas so paid for a couple of months of lite, for £8 a month it's worth it, I was only seeing ads on music videos and even then only short ones.

Not been watching any sport though, I don't want tnt even getting my youtube clicks. I'm full time sailing the seven seas until the prices become reasonable again. I used to pay £20 a year for Eurosport player, £31 a month is taking liberties.

Must admit since Eurosport went I haven't a clue of any race results and have lost all interest in watching cycling.

It sort of echoes my indifference nowadays to football.

You quickly find other things to fill your time.

I've dropped out of being interested also, other things replace watching cycling, it's not like I ever had the time to watch live and I only ever watched highlights or the last 20 minutes anyway.
