I 'somehow' have TNT bundled with my BT broadband - it's an old contract and I don't pay extra, but you could argue I do as BT are not cheap.

Be interesting how this works when it goes over to HBO Max in March. discovery still stays, but HBO for the TNT sport. I'm assuming most other HBO stuff won't be available (e.g. box sets).

My 'bolt on' with EE is for TNT, so I'm awaiting instruction of where to access it. They have emailed me to say the information is on the way.

IIRC, you need to enter a post code, so just google a suitable postcode in Aus and Bruce is your uncle, then configure your account - you need to be on the VPN before you start the process of registering.

I don't remember having to use a postcode. Email address, maybe confirm an email back. Select Aus with the vpn, rather than let it autochoose your server. I'm very un-tech these days and managed it.
(Bizarrely, in the 80s I was considered the tech guru at work, mainly because I knew how to turn the thing on. This became something of a curse, because everyone came to me rather than going through computer support).

Me too. I’m currently accessing Discovery + via the app on the EE box. Unfortunately there is no HBO app so I’m not sure how this is going to end.

I'm 99% sure I did have to, but happy to be wrong.
It may be that you signed up a good while before I did, and they changed it in the interim.
It wouldn't surprise me if it's 'one of the steps' they have been asked to put in place to demonstrate they are trying to stop people connecting over VPN.

As the spring classics are looming I’m becoming slightly anxious,
what to do, it’s not the money but the principle of paying for lots of stuff I don’t want to watch.

Depends how much value you place on listening to Carlton Kirby et al.

Cheapest and best way to watch the Spring classics is via a VPN and Sporza.
Simply the best coverage available.

Not sure that is makes any difference as TNT are leaving Discovery anyway.

I thought Netflix deal now completely off the cards after WBD board recommended the updated Paramount deal which is to buy everything (Netflix was never buying CNN etc). Paramount deal subject to reg approval.

OK what races are on today. Need to watch something to take my mind off world events. And I'm a lucky one that's got TNT chucked in free with my BT internet (although BT is very expensive).

Het Nieuwsblad (the ghost of Het Volk). The start of season opportunity to be reminded that the season might be just a procession behind MVdP.

Historically he who goes well at Het Volk doesn't win at the Ronde, but we'll see.

Fair point. I didn't know that Warner owned both Discovery and HBO.
Makes the TNT move from one to the other as practical as moving the deckchairs on the Titanic.
