Stuff you can buy in your Chinese hotel bathroom

Again, I didn't buy so can't comment definitively. I didn't see any one-legged Chinese people so I assume it is one pair per box, otherwise the market may be somewhat restricted. The company I was visiting was covering the hotel bill so I didn't want various "sundry" items on the bill....they get more racey as we go on!

A bit bigger than a pack of 20 fags so I guess they were actually socks. I'm probably back there next month so I will open one of the things I photographed and let you see the contents. You can all decide which one you want a look at after you've seen all the photos!

A few years ago a colleague went to India for a week on business, he was bored at the weekend and wanted to play tennis, so the hotel arranged for a local tennis coach to come and hit a few balls with him.
When the bill arrived, he had been charged sundry expenses for a "rent of boy".
That took some explaining to the company accounts department.

I recalll in one hotel in China.... posh place too, lots of freebies complementary items in the bathroom. Only item appeared to be subject to a charge....a packet which I deduced from the images thereon to contain a condom (albeit one which felt nearly as heavy-duty as an inner tube). A sticker was attached to make it clear that this was an "uncomplementary" item.

I'm gutted.

I checked my photos and I must have forgotten to take one of a great item....men's and ladies' underwear. In boxes like the socks. I can only surmise that these were in case you have an....ahem....."unscheduled" overnighter. Anyway....more to come tomorrow !
