Sounds good, went for my first road ride with the healing hand today which was good so il be there! first group ride too so will I be laughed at if im on commuter road bike with mudguards and rack?:s

If it makes any difference I'll be on a fairly heavy tourer with a rack if I make it (subject to how much work I get done today). The station car parks are quite expensive - do you think it would be ok to park in tescos?

You can park free in the old town high St, it's only a couple of minutes away!

Is there a decent breakfast to be had at Stevenage station does anyone know?

And does anyone know if I need a bike reservation if I want to get the train back to London?

See you tomorrow.

There's not a cafe there, just a few coffee shops.
There are cafes in the town centre, but I don't know how early they open on a Sunday.
EDIT - There's a Wetherspoons in the town centre - don't they open very early?
Bike reservations - If you're getting an InterCity you need them, otherwise you don't.
There's fast trains every half hour - 1303, 1336, 1403 and so on.
I expect it'll be OK parking in Tesco, but I'm not prepared to chip in if you get clamped!!
