Run planned with nephew and some friends - so should be fun but doesn’t quite fit with the training plan, so walk hounds first and then a quick pre run.

Promised the current wife a ride to the club for a swim and sauna, the way back does have a few nice pubs 😎

Nephew and his girlfriend back over later to take them out for a meal, potentially my parents too

Morning
Its a bit damp here must have had some of that rain stuff. Just getting ready for todays club run. Yet another clothing indecision day as it’s cool now but forecast to get quite warm. I suspect I will end up with half my wardrobe stuff up the back of my jersey.

Morning

Bit drizzly damp here though very mild.
8 hrs sleep wasn't enough seemingly.

Coffee please.

Good sleep. Off to the tip with a large pile of packaging from the last few days activities and off to town for a few things we couldn't get yesterday. Then a bit more tinkering on the project.

enjoyable visit ride in the unforecast sunniness, cat pampered, coffee and marble cake in the sun, not too many people trying to kill me on the way home

may have a bask if it lasts

Enjoyed the ride, mostly like riding in the Borders, apart from the Suie climb (could do with a bigger granny gear on the road bike). Pleased to manage it without flaking out, recovery must be nearly complete!
A very well organised sportif, even had soup, sandwiches, and cake at the end. Weather was spot on as well, sunny but not too hot!
