Taking a detour

OK, so I'm up for a detour after work. My usual commute is just over 6 miles but as I am leaving at 5am today I thought a longer ride home would do nicely.

I'm going for 13miles to see how it goes

I managed it and it was greading riding with virtually no traffic on the roads. 13 miles, 1hr 10mins, max speed 28mph down hill.

My ears all all cold now and my feet were bloody freezing. Think I'll do it again tomorrow morning

It's been a week for detours. I did it 3 times. Normal round trip commute 5 miles. Detour route 14 miles Monday and Wednesday, 22 miles on Friday, and 28 miles yesterday.
