Okay this was yesterday, but as it was a sunny but very cold day, went out for a Crimbo ride around a reasonably deserted city. Quite a few folk out for a walk, but still pleasing with virtually no shops open. 
Cycling down one of our main shopping streets, was amazed to see a Starbucks open - !
Stopped to check it wasn't an illusion and was accosted near the door by one of the staff who told me that for today, all food & drink was free - !
Not having bothered with a lock for my Brommy. issue solved with half a minute's metal origami and took it inside.
Whilst in there, one of the managers joined me and we had a good banter of about fifteen minutes or so and as I was about to leave, they insisted I help myself to any of the perishable foodstuff I wanted - !
One roll, one panini melt & a mince pie later, I departed.
Didn't see that coming - !
