I tried the cheap ebay made in China solid tyres last week on my training rollers. The tyres were easy to get on the wheels with a good set of tyre levers and after 5mins in the oven. No pegs or pins, I did need to centre the tyre tread by pulling them with pliers wrapped in a cloth, so the tread was central.

The big problem is that the rolling resistance is very, extremely, extraordinarily high, so they are too difficult to get rolling. No good for my intended purpose, the training Rollers, it was too much effort to get the wheels rolling.

Fortunately, they were easy to get off the wheels too, I pulled them up by the tread with pliers/cloth and stuck a tyre lever underneath them.

Here they are:https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353188420533?

On the road my bike was slightly faster on the Tannus tyres, they just didn't have enough "give" to soak up the road imperfections enough for me.

People who ride at 80psi+ would probably be perfectly happy with them.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Some people like them. There are quite a few YouTube videos about tanus tyres either riding with them or fitting them.

I think there was one gentleman who road a road bike and really liked them.

I quite fancied trying them but they don't have a size for my bike.
