The *sigh* was in reference to the tedious inevitability of someone asking for a photo.
My point was that she should do what she wants.
The irony is that it's International Women's Day.

Absolutely, on International WOMENS day of all days these sorts of comment should be kept to yourself. Give women some respect I say.

If the piccie does turn up can someone give me a shout I'd like to take a look for research purposes, Thanks

I've known 2 women who had 'discreet' tattoos somewhere 'personal', and I found then quite sexy, tbh, when I found them,. which was part of the attraction, I suppose
SOME '@rse antlers' look sexy, but most don't. Cheryl Cole's thigh one looks quite good, mostly because it's on Cheryl Cole's thigh.

The biggest problem with tattoos, apart from the risk of looking a prat in twenty years time with an 'I've got the hots for Sponge Bob Squarepants' tattoo on your left tit,

Quite, I have 2 friends with tattoo's and when I am feeling jaunty, which is often, I mercilessly take the pee out of. One has an inescapably obvious one on his knuckles. S.L.A.D.E. The other is lucky, it is a knee to ankle one and his only makes an appearance on Wednesday five-a-side nights. "Ant music for sex people". ^_^

In the future, today's Celtic logo's & "meaningful" script will date the owners just as easily.

some, all or none of this may be true but it begs the question, why do you care?

I got mine when I was 42 and 4 years later I still love it. It is on the top of my foot and was as sore as hell that's why I have not repeated the experience. It is very personal to me and I don't give a monkeys what other people think. Simply because I don't worry what other people do to their bodies, it's none of my business.

In my opinion if you dress smart and respectable a tattoo can look classy, if you dress cheap and tarty it will look like a, what wast it ......a something stamp". I can cover mine up at business meeting and show it off at nights out. And when I'm 80 I will sit with my feet up and look at it ,old and wrinkled, and laugh at the good times I had.:girldance:

I've got to say, I just love to see a man discreetly tattooed you know the peeking out of the short sleeve shirt type. Not a good look on skinny arms though.

Guys feel free to post pictures^_^

I don't, it was in response to "shortmembers" post about regret.

hmmm, and you've also declared that it's a guaranteed 100% turn off for you, again I'd ask why and how can you be so sure? I understand visual attraction or lack thereof but would it really have that effect on you? What about a tattoo that isn't visible/known about until you become more intimate? Would that revelation erase all of the chemistry and what not that had led you to that point? You've said that you have friends with tattoos so clearly it's not enough to erase a friendship....just curious about such heartfelt and inflexible avowals.

Well I wouldn't feel any physical attraction to my male friends, even if they were 100% tattoo free...........

I've always loathed tattoos, that doesn't mean I don't think other people shouldn't have them, my 18 year old son has one. To answer another of your questions, a long time ago a tattoo did indeed kill my attraction for a girl stone dead, it was on the rear of her back, upper shoulder, a baby dinosaur climbing out of it's broken egg.
