Well really, running and shouting at nursery - whatever next?:biggrin:

Am I old-fashioned, or would you have a seperate area for running boisteriously away from the younger ones?

I take it that running was really toddling quickly? BTW I hope they let him play with dolls, and let the girls play with cars and lorries.

I know, it sounds a bit harsh - I think really it was that he had been told to be careful and ignored them. Yes, he is still toddling, or he was at Christmas. He still toddles faster than he can keep up with sometimes, and falls over. I have video of him toddling full tilt towards a low hidden step in my Mum's garden, with Mum running full tilt to catch him before he fell off it! (she did)

I'm sure they get to play with whatever they want. Apparently Oli is very fond of his own Iggle Piggle. I'm going to have to have a crash course in In the Night Garden. Sis doesn't plonk him in front of the telly during the day, but he does watch that.

Of course he'll get nothing but things with wheels and boyish toys from me, but then a niece would get the same.

My mum tells a story of when she went to pick my younger brother up from infant school, and was met by a particularly annoyed-looking head teacher. My brother's heinous misdemeanour? Saying "No" to a teacher!

Spoke to my sister last night, Oliver had his first telling off at nursery. His crime? Running and shouting! (after 3 warnings)
3 warnings? What kind of politically-correct woolly liberal softness is this?
If I was running a nursery it would be one warning and then the snipers get their firing orders.

I think my ears are beginning to return to normal. Last night's concert was So loud,

I was seated upstairs in the "Gallery" and what with the vibrations from the music and the man next to me jigging about, and everyone clapping, and dancing and Errol Brown shimmying his hips.

:angry::wahhey:;):bravo::thumbsup::biggrin:

(need a dancing smiley thingy here)

Everyone's a winner

It started with a kiss

Morning All (You Sexy Things;))!

I'm being a bit of a fraudulent CC'er this week, as I'm walking to work, but what a lovely morning for it!

Kettle's just boiled...

Are you up north or down south? It's grey here, and snow forecast for this afternoon....

Yes please, to tea...

Sarf today, but back Oop North this evening. The weather forecast suggests I may get a frosty reception. Still, there's not bad weather, just inappropriate clothing!

Don't tell me that. I've finally cycled to work today after a week lay off of at least two weeks:sad:. I did see a few cars with a sprinkling of snow this morning now you mention it. I guess I can get the bus home if it gets bad.

I didn't get the impression it would be very major snow, TBH.

Hmm, snowing now, and settling....

Tea anyone? I just made some. There is a group of 50 schoolkids in the building today, so it's a bit noisy.

I SAID, IT'S A BIT NOISY!
