I'm on hot chocolate now.

Just noticed that 526 Tea? posts are mine! I wonder who has the most Tea? posts?

How did you find that out?

I'm just thinking it's time for lunch and a cuppa. Can I be bothered to walk down to the shop for a treat of a chocolate bar....?

Tune in later folks for the latest thrilling instalment of Arch's Snack Saga!

Will she really buy a Twix or will the darkly handsome Bournville seduce her? :tongue:

Will someone offer her a Dorito and lure her into a seedy underworld of savoury snackage? :blush:

All this and more in Episode 2: Arch Goes To The Shop!

Afternoon... I ma slowly coming round after waking at three this morning by the *pina* of a migraine so bad I wanted to die... worse than childbirth. Worse than breaking a bone. Bah.

<previously on Arch goes to the Shop>

"Yeah, sod it, I'm going to get a Twix!"

<roll start titles>

Arch enters shop.

Arch <voiceover of internal thoughts>: Hmm, Twix or Mars Bar? Mars Bar!

Arch moves to counter where teenage assistant is reading paper and waits.

And waits.

And waits a bit more.

Arch "Excuse me!"

Shop assistant jumps out of skin.

Shop Assistant: "Sorry, I was miles away...."

Arch pays for Mars Bar, and walks back to house, where she prepares a gourmet lunch of instant noodles in cupasoup sauce, tea, and Mars Bar.

<roll end credits>

A bit better, thanks. The headache is at the tail end, so I can sort of function and sort of see. I'm at the stage where the sheer physical exhaustion is setting in. I don't know how it does it, but a bad migraine, once gone, leaves me physically *drained* and utterly exhausted.

I'm not surprised. Any severe pain like that, your body probably just wants you to take it easy and recover..

Yes please to tea. Anything specific we can get you, Waffles?

Righty-ho.

MrWC made dinner this evening, so we had pasta. Followed by large cup of tea. Just what I needed as I am cream-crackered, so am going to have an early night - and not for any romantic reason (bah!). With a bit of luck I should be ok tomorrow morning.

evening folks, hope you're better by morning WC, I raise my can of carbonated tea alternative to you all.

Read an article today about how, when the chocolate craving rears its head, you can become unreasonable and agressive. This is apparently more common, and more severe, in the female of the species. Males, like myself, are far more susceptible to the savoury side of the problem, or kebabitis. According to the article innocent bystanders can suffer and particularly vulnerable are young shop assistants. Something to do with interfering in the craving to satisfaction cycle............obviously I thought it was twaddle.........but sometimes you wonder........

Go to the cafe forum and on the left of the Tea? thread title is the little round flag that tells you that you have looked at the thread. There is a spot there that indicates that you have posted in the thread. If you hover your cursor over the the indicator it tells you how many posts you've made on the thread and when your last post was.

I've been reading the anouncements.:biggrin:
