Oooh, check this out!
Cycle Chat Jersey on National TV, in local school closure protest!:
PM visited a local academy school to 'big up' their education policies, myself and other parents were there to try and tell him different.
Click this link and then play the News @ One clip, it's in the main story after Harriet Harman talking with Westminster Bridge in the background.:becool:

Tea anyone?

Assuming you mean Jacqui Smith (no, I can't tell them apart either). Dammit, I saw that news as it went out, and that clip, but didn't spot you. TBH, I only really recognise you now you've said, and in black and white it'd be even less clear...

Got yourself manhandled by a copper then? Some people have all the luck.

Better have some tea, after all that excitement.

Yes, t'was I being dragged off by a Policeman.
It was all very gentle, what with most of us not wanting to get arrested when we had our kids to pick up from school but we did catch the Police out by saying we wouldn't(fingers crossed behind backs)try to jump the PM's car, after they gave us a lil' talk about how the cars won't stop and could run us down and some of the 'security' carry guns, blah blah.

The London Evening Standard has it as 'Brown Ambushed.......':laugh:

On the big screen you can see I'm wearing my long sleeve orange/black CC Jersey.
As seen on National TV.

I now appear to have 4 mugs of tea?:becool::ohmy:

We were very lucky with the Police today.
The Inspector in charge and the PCs were all from my part of the borough, the Inspector , when I asked him nicely even tried to get some of our pamflets to Brown's security to pass on to no avail.
It's against Police policy to involve themselves like that but he recognised we are polite, organised local parents with a just cause.

I've met the 'other kind' on notably more occasions.:becool:

At the Hillgrove demo they stood back whilst we trampled fences to the ground. It only turned nasty when some of the crowd (probably rent-a-mob) began to attack the Police with stones. That was my first experience of a Mounted Police charge. Brown trouser time.
