Also, and I wish I had my camera with me. Someone had made/found tiny little doors, which they had put at the foot of trees or where branches joined the main trunk. I felt quite at home. ;)

Sweet! One day I would like to get hold of a tree stump (with some of the roots still attached for effect) and carve a sort of rustic doll's house out of it - lots of little rustic scooped out rooms, cups made of acorn cups, that sort of thing. Just as a mouse/gnome house might be.

Any tea? Shall I put the kettle on? Just had a cuppa with my downstairs neightbour who had an attempt to force her window last night - presumably the person didn't realise the ground floor is a flat, and though it might be just the living rooms of a house. I'm glad I live on theh second floor, it would take a rather determined burglar to force my windows...

I'm quite pleased with myself, I set to on Sunday to adapt the broken gold rear mudguard I had into a front one, to go with the non-broken one, and made quite a decent job of it, a little light hacksawing, some sandpaper and the removeable stays off the old silver one I want to replace. Just need to wait for the frame to be lacquered now...

I'm tempted to get one for you just to see where you would put it.;)

Yeah, the lack of space is a bit of an issue just now....

I'd have to shrink myself down, and live in it...

I was at an Italian Market this afternoon. Lots of lovely Italians (male, and a few female) but strangely none for sale. They just wanted to sell me some biscuits, or cheese or pasta*. So I chose some very scrumptious biskityy cakey type consumables, still four left. ;)

* Can I report them under the Trades Description Act?

Tea for Spandex.

Yep very well I loved it.

Morning all!

That offer of a cuppa still valid?
Wet and grim here, but it's amazing what a dry pair of wolly socks does for one's general well-being.
No riding for me this weekend, but we did have a lovely couple of days with the (not-really-)in-laws, sorting out the garden and going for a ramble in the Peak.
