I know... gone are the days of cheap insurance for youngsters wanting to learn to drive. Yes, I know the accident rate for young drivers is high, hence higher premiums, but no wonder there's so many driving around with no insurance these days...

Just had a call from 'er indoors.
We have a sink with running water.
We have a working washing mashine.
Some cupboards ahve been fitted
Cooker will be fitted next week
There is still dust everywhere even though we are hoovering everyday.
Only another week & half to go.

Remind me again, please. What is it about the male brain that as soon as a male is thinking about learning to drive, he & his father get together to decide on a first car and immediately start looking at stuff that, for a new driver, is too big physically, too big engine-wise, too expensive to insure & maintain & sets the son on the road to rapidly becoming a petrol-headed tosspot?

I am seriously not amused. There are not enough of these gifs to adequately demonstrate my lack of amusement....
