Yes silk I think - I had to use the flash, hence the shine. I couldn't believe how well it 'went' with the sofa. And as my duvet covers are also dark blue, it would go equally well on the bed, if I so wished...

How's you today?
Feathers are looking glossy and all, obviously owls like Thai food.
I found some reduced trout last night, so we had that with new pots and peppers. I did the fish in a little olive oil with a lot of lemon thyme, and some lime juice added at the last minute.
Handy hint - fresh herbs spit when dropped in hot olive oil.
A lot.
Really, really a lot.

Well, off up to campus. Got a meeting about a conference I've said I'll help arrange (well, I'll be doing the admin and prodding the academics to do most of it) So far, just arranging the first meeting has been like trying to herd cats, so we'll see how it goes. I'm seriously wondering if it'll be worth the £7 an hour. So far, I've only done about an hour max, but it'll get busier once abstracts and stuff start coming in. But I'm meeting a mate for lunch first...

Probably 'see' you all again tomorrow...
