That works nicely. If it's a weekend morning, say...
Meet at the garden center in Codicote (about 5 miles from WGC and St Ephanage) for tea and toast, do a big loop over past Whitwell / Wheathamstead kind of way (I'm assuming you know something of the geography here, or can get a map up) and drop into Welwyn Village for lunch at Aqua. Pasta or pizza, wine and coffee for about £6.
I know you have an MTB - road bike as well?

You'll be sorry when you do that triangulation and find it's bang on top of a sewage farm or something...;)

If you look on a map it's less of a triangle and more of a line really. A Railway line, in fact. I'm on my home ground here. None of your soppy namby-pamby crybaby nonsense!

Oh, that's very tempting, but I'm not sure I should be blagging train tickets off people I've never met... Although I'm quite jealous of your plan...

I couldn't even pay you in vegetables, I don't think I've got £40-worth of onions left, and only the last 5 thinnest leeks left in the ground...

Weh HEY! Donny Doncaster the home of Local Council honesty!
It's 'Go ahead Punk, make my breakfast' at the towers BTW.

Sounds like a plan there Doc', I'm on a Trek 800 which is basically a hybrid, plus it's wearing slicks now, ready for the better weather.

Funny, I was going to say about 'quite how one tries to triangulate three places that are in a straight line' but worried I might sound a bit geeky?!
Thank you Doc you have saved me there:biggrin:.

I prefer the South American, Argey Bhajis.

I'm feeling dead guilty about forgettin who else has one of my quotes as their sig.
The quote goes along the lines of 'bicycle broke, balls to the wind', and comes from one of my beju cycling anecdotes.

I'm waving! But alas, am probably too far from the station to be visible. Waving anyway. Yes, my onion mountain is a sight to see, forget the minster and the NRM and all that...

*thinks can just hear a hullooooo carried like a scrap of seaspray on the wind*

If anyone reads this thread, they'd never let us into Whipsnade!

Ta muchly. ;)

Stockholm was great, OH and I really enjoyed it - seems like a really laid-back place (though I suspect they're a nation of much earlier risers than I'd care for...). Bikes everywhere and most of the roads have little zebra crossings where vehicles unfailingly give way to pedestrians.
