Are you trying to suggest that I should vacate my seat so that you can have the place to yourself?

That's the most terrifying door I've ever seen, certainly not conducive to the enjoyment of a nice cup of tea............ Think I'll have a glass of wine instead.

Eggschellent idea. I've got a bottle of "Black Tower" in the fridge, or there is some red wine in the cupboard, which do you prefer? I have got some unsalted crisps. LoTP won't be coming back in this evening. We can get up to drinking allsorts and he will never know:smile:. Your place or mine?

Does anyone else want to join us?

I'll have the red out of your cupboard ta, especially because I've finished all mine. I don't really see the point of white, except with fish dishes.

Does anyone mind if I roll a virtual spliff?

Only if you don't virtually drop hot rocks on LotTP's virtual shagpile, not even sure we're supposed to be here this late.. Hey man.. crumble some bud in his tea caddy! That'll be interesting when all the workshy office slackers roll in for a cuppa tomorrow morning

You are welcome to have the red wine. Peeps keep giving me red wine, but I much prefer a Rosé, or a fruity white. How long does red wine keep (unopened) before it becomes undrinkable - shall we find out?

I have never tried a spliff , virtual or otherwise. Please don't make a mess on His Lordiship's carpet, he will flip his lid . I think we can stay as late as we like, but I don't think we ought to start dancing on the table. Did I mention that I am learning to do the Tango (Argentino, not the fizzy pop). Would you like me to show you?

errrr..... ummmm..... could someone explain the general drift behind this thread with its six hundred and eighty four posts to date?

(*nervously sips cup of steaming coffee at his desk - but having earlier in the day imbibed two cups of tea at breakfast*)

I agree!
But I suppose we're all allowed a certain degree of eccentricity from time to time. Having a 'virtual cup of tea' isn't exactly, er, my cup of tea;), but if it floats your boat . . . !

It's like a cross between a tea shop and an intergalactic, psychedelic, soporific soap opera.

Er, we don't do that in here. I don't mind personally but some people tend to get a little emotional when this particular beverage is found to have been consumed on the premises.

In that case, you could always make like a broken tea bag and leave!:ohmy:
