Tea? (Part 1)

Tdr1nka, how do you get heating and light in your caravan Towers?

It is very quiet in here these days. I went into the Smoking room, but they seem to have gone down the pub instead without me

At present, the caravan has a 240v hook up so we have regular light and an oil heater(not needed this visit).

The plan for next summer will be to make a windmill to top up a 12v system and then we can go 'off grid'.
Water is from our own well and the pump will one day either be solar or wind powered.

We had a very lazy day today, it was raining this afternoon so we've all been acclimatising and cat napping.

I fitted the bigger clear domed skylight in the roof of the caravan yesterday and there was one teeny tiny leak during the rain today so I just have to fix that and finish the job on the inside.

Tomorrow will be spent clearing out the kitchen in the caravan and the toilet shed so I can get definitive measurements on the timber I'll need.

I will post some pictures tomorrow!

My weekend got better this evening - had planned to go see my immediate family and the dog yesterday but couldn't - now they're coming to visit me tomorrow . Great news

I don't know what is going on.

When I post on another thread the site locks up and sometimes I refresh back to the thread and no post or I have to close the site and reopen and log on again.

It is why I haven't posted much or replied to stuff, the site won't let me.

I have increased the bike count here by 3 1/2.
I have bought a load of knackerd bikes off Ebay, a family clearing out the kids broken ones. Got a BMX type thing, two full suspension MTB's that are in bits and various spares. Nothing fancy but some of it should be the basis of mocking up my recumbent.
