Didn't help me on that climb though...
Hi Plax! *hugs* I had a great time yesterday - I really enjoyed the ride. That Galaxy of yours is lovely.

I'm moving out of my accommodation that I shared with Jack and put all of the stuff in storage as I'm away abroad, well from tomorrow, until Summer 2009.

Just got a bit emotional when I packed away some of Jacks stuff and photos as well.

Hope I don't sound too soppy.

Oh, Cookie...
It's not soppy at all. This must have been dreadful for you, and of course you're going to get emotional. It's only to be expected. Have some tea and a hug, if you'd like one?

CM, not too soppy at all.

All those memories to pack away and the whole moving on thing, you are more than entitled to bawl your flippin eyes out.

It is a time of release, rememberence, a new world awaits, embrace it!

Well, I did have a good bawl. The last time I done that was when I saw Bambi when I was 4. I didn't when Jack passed away as I think I was in shock about it.

My close mate, Chris, who is in the same year as me at Univ, and was helping me move as he has a car, was there and he said about time I had a good bawl as he was worried that I was 'holding back' a bit.

Anyhoo. off to France for 6 weeks tomorrow, working, then I will be studying in Finland for a year. And yes, the bike is coming with me to Toulouse. Too much good cycling country to be missed. I so want to do my first Col.

Then not a moment too soon. Well done!
It is always better to get the tears out in context, so to speak, rather than them catch up with you later when you don't expect and are least prepared.

Have a wonderful time in France and I hope you will still be logging in while you're away in Finland!

Offers what might be the last cuppa of British 'splosh' for a while:eek: !
