Not been in much myself, Col. There's an 80s music thread going. If there's loads of Depeche Mode / Human League / Ultravox references happening, you'll know why!

Leo, my cat has a grand time here. No pets in the nearby houses, but everyone still likes him. At the end of the back garden is a huge field, full of mousies. He is called Leo, but not sure if that is short for Napoleon or Leonardo.

time for bed soon :biggrin::tired::becool:

Morning!
Cheers for brewing up! How're things?

Had a great run out yesterday, managed to drag my mate round his first 100k audax. Beautiful weather - my only grumble was overheating!

Congrats. Did your mate enjoy it?
Took it relatively easy and just did 50 miles over the weekend. It was lovely and warm - not bad for February at all.Could have maybe done with it a bit cooler yesterday as I was heading up our local steep hill.

Thank you Doctor, tea please. I will be visiting Malvern later today, (looking for some reclining chairs for the lounge), and will pop in to Rosewaites while I am there. Any special requests for cakes? Just for Arch, I will look out for any exotic fruit on offer.

Landslide, have you got any pets? I have noticed the high incidence of pet owners amongst Tea? people. Pictures would be nice

*hands tea to Speicher, offers small plate of Honig Brät Mandeln*

A meringue would be nice, or failing that an eccles cake. Thanks!
Good luck with the Reclining Chair Hunt.

Best of luck with the hearing.
Is that the disciplinary thing for taking a day off?

Morning both!

Col , hope your hearing's ok (Eh? Pardon?)

Doctor, I've not heard from him this morning, so I reckon he's ok (he'd be whining otherwise)!

Speicher, all well? BTW I think it was 515mm you wanted in connection with tea cosies, thoug I must admit my parents have a photo up of me (aged 4ish) and my brother (2ish) wearing tea-cosies!

Chicken with honey and almonds? Or Honey nut bread? I'll see what I can find.

It was meant to be honey roasted almonds:wacko: I will freely admit to having copied and pasted from a website of German recipes. Perhaps I should have stuck to Sachertorte, as I know this to exist (and to be rather good).

I'm hoping to go cycling in Austria, Germany and Switzerland in the summer, so I'll maybe learn some new Germanic comestibles then.
