Good news,i havnt been sacked by the other area manager,so its a relief,i can do things how i wanted to now.

Like hide a poo somewhere in his office on your last day?

Hmmmmm, sweet potatoes. Can you grow them here? About a million calories per spud, but very nice....

I have been told that using a small quantity of sweet potatoes in with normal potatoes makes lovely mash without adding butter and milk. I tried it and yes it works.

Has anyone got any of those lemon puff thingies or those pink wafers watnots? Will need a plate tho, otherwise I will get told off my Arnold - crumbs

Cheers guys,it was a relief,but god knows how its going to go next week,i had a letter come saturday morning,for an interview at 1730 for a full time post on a ward,and the shift im on,on the interview day, is 1500 to 2400,

I'm glad it went well for you Col, and top man for trying to do the decent thing and leave on good terms. The timing of that interview is a little unfortunate, to say the least.

At least you can give your manager more than 24 hours notice! Best of luck for the interview.

Lemon Puffs - haven't had those in ages. My mum didn't like them, so I only ever got them at my grandparents place. I shall put them on the shopping list.

Its a one off,iv been shortlisted,and will find out on the day,if im successful.All my induction,and training is done now,so when im police check cleared,ill be working on the bank,this is an application i put in some weeks ago,before i joined the bank.

Imagine how i felt,waiting for a hearing because of a training day,and while on suspension for that,this letter popped through the door,it was a sort of yahoo,followed by oh nooo,what to do?
