Fankooo very much!

Dead ants is when you call it and lift your feet and hands up off the floor all at once, and the last person to do so has to go make the tea. Very childish, but much fun!

LOL!

I just banged my head doing that, worse still it's only me in the house so I still have to make the tea!

That's most unusual. I think you'll find the sky is about to fall down. Stay indoors.

Suddenly you're Chicken Little????

Don't knock plastic as a bike material. Think of the Itera...

I nearly bought one of those once!

Arch said:

Oops is right. I rode it, and decided not to.

Anyway....

That bike sounds dead good Doc - you haven't accidentally included a motor have you?

The only motor is my own shapely and well muscled legs:biggrin:. I'm still working on the granite jawline thing.

Tea, anyone? I'm going to be twitchy all day, getting dead excited about Saturday now! Supposed to be at work tomorrow, not sure I'll be much use...:becool:

You'll be fine. That HTML won't know what's hit it. The Velovision site needed some work, and it's looking good these days.

Purely academic question, but say I erm... say a friend had a big bag of pork scratchings on my erm "his" desk.
If he were to scoff 'em all, how many pints of tasty, refreshing real ale do you think "he" would have to forego to atone for the extra fatty goodness in "his" diet?

Now all we have to do is take Arch's pedal boat out on Stanborough Lakes and we have a full day of activities!!

Bloody heck, I'd forgotten all about that. I was hoping to ski the back, steeper slope and get enough speed up to make it across the lake!:?:

Erm...don't try that. mmmkay? Dangerous.;)

:?:

Well, pork scratchings are about 680 cals for a 100 gram bag.
Beer is about 250 - 300 cals a pint, depending on whether we're talking IPA, Abbot Ale or something really heavy. Insert (oo-er) your local equivalents here...

The bag should tell you how much it weighs. I'm assuming you're doing the maths to help your 'friend'?

I might be able to help with the Pork Scratchings dilemma by telling the story of someone I know of who tried his first bag of pork scratchings and half waY through found one with a nipple. Never touched them again.

I'm a bit worried by the sudden "commando course" type of activities being suggested for Saturday. I've been training for "ride-cake-ride-lunch-zoo-everybody say 'ahhhh'". If I'd known momentum powered waterskiing was involved, I'd have... um.. run away?

I'm also thinking that taking feet and hand off the ground suddenly would result in a flat nose. And yes, I was thinking Dead Ants in a theme tune sort of way...

Well, it's only suggestions for what to do if it snows. The BBC site isn't predicting snow, just showers. Admittedly it predicted heavy rain for March 31, causing Waffles and me to cancel plans to do an audax down my way. Bright sunshine all day...:?:

Of course, we could just do tea and cake all day, but we'd get bored eventually. Perhaps. Once they'd run out of cake and toast.;)
