Blimey! I'm looking out on the Atlantic, the sun has only just started to dip below the horizon and it's 22:15!!

Tea up!

Yes, I was amazed at that when on holiday in south west Ireland some years ago. It is easy to forget how far west you have travelled, and that as the clocks have not been changed, it gets dark so much later. :tongue:

Good night all :ohmy::tired::smile:;)

Our oldest cat 'Tuesday', who is 11 is diabetic, has insulin injections twice a day and since a kitten has been travelling around with Mrs. tdr1nka.
The only part of the journey she doesn't like is the ferry so she has a very mild sedative from the vet to keep her chilled.

Our other cat and new arrival; 'Meep' has made the journey for the first time and although she did spend most of the journey under my seat she has been out and nosing around whenever we have stopped and turned the engine off.
Both cats spent time on my lap in the passenger seat during the journey and have water and a covered litter tray to hand.

Tuesday is now curled up at my feet, Meep is having a spot
of dinner and all four of us are tired but very content.:ohmy:

Morning all. Morning tdr1nka. Glad your journey is safely over. Give the felines of Chez tdr1nka a friendly ear-scritch from me, please. I was up at 4 this morning. Chooks already up, so they are breakfasted, hen house cleaned. I've had a large mug of tea & some toast & now I'm off to get showered, hair washed, etc., for the long drive up to the black country to attend my uncle's funeral. Wafflycat Minor is coming with me so I have company on the journey. Mr W is snowed under with work, so he just can't take the time out or he'd come with me. I am glad, however, that Wafflycat Minor has not whinged or moaned about coming along - he's okay that lad, when it matters.

Off for me shower...

Morning all, the kettle's hot. I've left a loaf out for toast and there's some nice marmalade in the cupboard.

Off to work again. Nice ride there and back so I'm not complaining. Double time helps :smile:.

Afternoons!
Hope today went as well as possible in the circs, Waffles. And evidently all is lively at Caravan Cottage...

Morning!

Was up at four yesterday - left home for Stoke at seven, was back in Norfolk by 11 at night. My uncle's funeral was moving, dignified and the words spoken encapsulated my uncle exactly. Then he was given a wonderful 'send off' at a local hostellry. In all, his two sons couldn't have given their dad a better farewell.

Ta. Hugs always welcome!

My uncle was a lovely man, as was his wife (my aunt died several years ago) and it shows in their two sons who are thoroughly decent chappies. And they did their Dad proud yesterday.
