Sorry about last night , I've had so many weeks of 4hours a night sleep between long bouts of work and study that I just needed to stop and have a drink.

I've spent the morning chopping up logs and drinking tea. Must do a delivery now, a load of music equipment, speakers and amps to my neighbour. 100 yards and I need to use the car for lack of a big barrow to wheel it all back and forth.

You run a PA hire company as well?!
With so many feathers in your cap NT, You must look like a native American Chief when you go to interviews.

*readies a bucket of E*rl Gr*y, no milk or sugar. After the cold tea incident of the other night I have put your tea in this large hotwater bottle to keep it warm!*

Thanks for the tea.

Not so much PA hire as reallocation of equipment. I used to shift a lot of sound equipment for stage work having been in a band, worked as a roadie and built a load of stuff for people. This lot was about to go in the skip from the theatre group so I took it all and moved it on to someoen who could use it.

I still have two long 9 lamp stage lights to shift, complete with gel slides and a couple of roles of colour gel. If no takers then I will strip and scrap them.

I am trying to dig my work shop out from under a pile of bikes, trikes, logs and used timber and boards.

What a cutie!

I need tea! Been helping out at an open day all day, so I'm parched from saying "are you interested in archaeology at all?" and my legs ache from standing up all day.... My, what an interesting mix of fashions and hair styles sported by 17 year olds though.

Still, I've got a reduced mince beef and onion pie in the fridge for supper later, and only a face and 4 hands/feet to knit and then I can sew the monkey up. The pattern says to embroider the eyes, but I think it would be better with little boot button ones if I can sew them on securely enough - they'll by shiney. Can't wait to see little Oli again next week - although the monkey is for his birthday a month away, so I can't give it to him yet. This time, I will be giving him the Babar bowl I found in France. Its the sort where you have to finish up all your dinner to see the picture. Not that finishing his dinner is a problem, he seems to like his food...
