Hurrah for best mates

I've been excommunicated for having the audacity to not be able to afford to attend a friends 30th a few years back. Shame - he was a good mate .

Oh good God that's seriously petty, sorry to hear that Longers!

My best friend and I have known each other since I was 3 and he was 5!
36 bloody years!! Our Mums have been best friends since going to Drama school in the 50's!

My problem is that I'll be in Ireland, again, with Miss tdr1nka on the day of the wedding.
It's perfectly feasible for me to fly back for the day but it is a 6 hour round trip to get me to the airport and another 6 to get me back:eek:!

I'm looking into local buses at the mo. so all might not be lost! Hurrah!!

Tea!

It's his loss

We used to do some good cycling together and a hell of a lot of nattering.
He's big in the city now, with a new family so his loss might not be that great actually

Hope things work out one way or the other for you though.

It's a bit unfair of you to take their photo in such a position!
That's not very saintly of you at all.

Tdr1nka, I am in need of your experteas in Tea making.

There will be television crew in my mother's street later this week. We are wondering what sort of tea they will prefer?

I would be surprised if they didn't arrive with their own tea making faciliteas. Do you know what they are filming and for how long?
Otherwise expect a mixed(tea)bag of needs.
Crew, techs and drivers will have anything akin to 'Builders' tea but also expect to dispense coffee.
Directors and production staff will probably prefer coffee but a regular strong tea, not too orange, will suffice.
And if there are actors, herbal, red bush, earl grey, camomile, jasmine are useful to have around.

All told you are best leaving out an urn, cups, tea ba*gs, milk and sugar
on a trestle table and letting them sort it out themselves.
