Thank for the tea, I am very thirsty after eating a Chinese take away.

Mickel was very busy helping people try out bicycles, so it was a short series of very short meets.;) I still do not understand how they get so many bikes into such a small van. "See" you all tomorrow.

I've just gulped down a bucket full of tea while packing stuff for a picnic.
Need to pop into a motorway services to try and get a waterproof picnic blanket in the morning though looking at the weather I might need a tent to go over it as well.

A bit of a challenge this morning. I am trying to install a new printer -one of those that also scans and photocopies (but it does not make the Tea).

It has "locked up" in the process where you add it to the computer, so I am stuck for a bit. I have found it a puzzle to get to Tea? I cannot see the top left hand quarter of the screen.

I found a guest who was looking at the Tea? thread, so I followed the link that way in. I tried to invite them in, but they just seemed to want to lurk outside enjoying the sunshine.

Have had a wonderful morning. The weather held out despite rain right up to arriving at Rivington Great Barn. Watched loads of cyclists getting ready for rides and wished I had my bike with me. M and I took a long scenic walk all the way up to Rivington Pike and then back down again, getting lost a few times, before setting up a picnic. Proper plates, cutlery and wine glasses and loads of variety in the food. It was a really great date.

Unfortunately M doesn't ride bikes.

Back to work before I get caught.

It has been very quiet in here today.

I try not to stay on here too late into the night, but the next morning I read that lots of peoples have been on here after I have retired. Are you trying to tell me something?:angry:

Greetings.

I'm having a last look in before retiring (most likely). I'm shattered. I've been catching up house-type things after a week of much chauffeuring my plastered husband about bits of the east & south-east. Chauffeured the offspring to paintball & back, stuffed a chicken (not Anode or Cathode, but an organic free-ranger) roasted it (it was thoroughly delicious) made stock from it too so have got chicken, lentil & veg soup on the go ready for tomorrow's eating.

Wormed my hens, fed my hens, done some gardening... washed dishes, done laundry...

I am quite cream-crackered.

FWIW I'm off to bed soon as I have to get Miss tdr1nka to school then get to a friends new flat to cost up new bathroom/kitchen etc.back to School to see Miss t in 'another' school concert and then off to the Doctors for her Tetinus booster.

Lots of flying around!

Time for tea?

I got a puncture in my car tire on Saturday, took it to get it repaired today and and was told it is scrap as the puncture is too close to the side wall.
The tire has only done 1000 miles and a replacement is £80.
