So THIS is where you all hang out!

Thought you would have been down the pub.

Anyway.

Like the decor. Olde stylee. Proper brewed tea. Strong two cup pot for me, no sugar. Common brand. Normally drink coffee but tea more refreshing when cycling.

Hmmm. And apple crumble with cream. And a ham and cheese sarnie with pepper, salt and mustard.

Nice chair here by the window.

<Ahem!>

Ah, sorry to wake you, but I thought you might be needing to get off to work or something. You seem to have dozed off in that chair. Lucky you'd finished your apple crumble and cream, so no spillage... Tea? to help you wake up?

Sorry to hear you're missing the bike so badly Waffles. The only solution I can think of is... a rickshaw?:becool: And I sympathise on the... um, posterior front, I only have think "chocolate" and I've gained a pound. Since I tend to think "chocolate" quite a lot, this is a problem. Somehow thinking "salad", however nice, just isn't the same...

Obviously the milestone of 10000 posts will be reached. There's another milestone which might be reached today. The next egg to be laid will be number 144!

If only you could bring the chooks in and let one of them simultaneously produce the 10,000th post and the 144th egg...;)

Are we going to be organised about this and debate who gets to make the post, or just make it a free for all and see how it happens? ;) As long as we don't get that countdown sort of thing happening. Let's make every one of these next few posts really count...:smile:

Hmm. I'm watching the clock and hoping there isn't a rush of posts while I'm having my lunch at 12....

Should we have been having one of those "Review of the Year" type conversations, like the stuff they tend to do on New Years Eve on the telly? A sort of reminsicence thing. All stuff like "do you remember, that time we balanced a load of stuff on TheDoctor, when he fell asleep?" and "Whatever happened to Chuffy's womble?"

Perhaps we should record someone reading the thread out, and release it as an audiobook... Even better, actually - an original cast recording!;)
