Yes, 25 years is a very long time. There are some people on here who weren't born in 1983! It is an extremely long time, when you are concerned about how someone in particular is getting on, or even if they are still alive. The particular someone had a penchant for dangerous sports. Even if we do not meet up again, I shall be considerably reassured that they are well (as they appear to be) and happy.

Waffles came in from outside.

She meowed in her "I want attention" mode

So I picked her up to give her a cuddle.

It is raining outside: Waffles is wet.

I shout out to MrW: "Vernon! I have a damp pussy!"

Cue much coughing & choking from the adjacent room where one's teenage offspring is located

I've been watching Hand That Rocks The Cradle and working out how to put music on my new phone.

I'll keep an eye out for the pool and try not to run, safety bod me, ever since I ran round a pool and knocked myself out when I was six.

I personally think chips go better with beer.

I dunno. There's nothing like a whacking great mug of tea to wash down a fish and chip supper. There's something about fish and chips that makes me thirsty, and once it's cooled enough, you can quaff tea as a great thirst quencher...

Landslide, whats up with your hub then? I mean, yes, it's collapsed, but what are the symptoms? Not that I have any suggestions off hand, but maybe if you can treat the syptoms, rather than the problem, that'll do to get you home...

I found my rear mudguaard was wobbling about yesterday when I came to go home, and this morning on inspection I find the metal flap that holds it to the bridge between the seat stays has sheared right through, so it's attached only at the mudguard stays and the bottom bracket, hence the wobble. It's a mystery, it was fine yesterday morning AFAIK, and all I did was lock it up to a post as normal at work. I wonder if some little tyke bashed into it or something. I reckon it's fixable, with a zip tie or two though.

Here Doc, do you want me to look up the CTC for you?
