Wafflycat Minor has moved out of home into his new houseshare for university, which starts on Monday. No more lazy teenager lying about the house! Yippee! I do, however, miss him. It's a mother-thing. But it is entirely proper that he is making his own way in the world

Ah well.. got a text or three from WMnr today. He is already requiring of assistance. Official finance will be late. He is officially an impoverished and starving student. I am mounting an airlift of supplies later today.

It seems you aren't the only one shouting at student finance...

The big problem I have now is that I'm in Finland for a year and it cost me a bit to get here. I need the finance soon, very soon or the rent is going to be late and I don't want to go explaining that as I find it embarrasing. Maybe that's just me but I don't like going cap in hand.
