I had a surprise today at "work". The magazine rack needed sorting out, and guess who was on the cover of a copy of "VeloVision" , someone whose name begins with A.

Was it Andrew Somebody, a black chap on a really oversized frame with huge wheels?

Or was it me? That's going back a bit! Does Work subscribe?

I've got my name in print in a book too - a photo credit for an article my friend wrote on skinning. She just showed it to me....

Ok, I just went to check my OnePoll page for surveys I could do (annoying they were all prize draws today, not cash) and in one of them, it asked "what weekly treat would you not give up to save money in the New Year". And one of the options, among 'fish and chips' and 'going to the hairdresser' was "taxi rides". How sad to you have to be, for a taxi ride to be your weekly treat? I suppose it means 'instead of getting the bus', but it sound like someone would hail a cab for a joy ride?

I love filling the dafter ones in, I just make it all up...
