I think it is a Royal train in Arch's house the National Railway Museum in York.

Just back from the theatre. Any tea on the go? I can't remember the last time I went to the theatre and have now been twice in as many weeks - Evita tonight in Hull, West Side Story at the Millennium Centre in Cardiff a couple of weeks ago.

I like steam engines. I am looking for inspiration for a piece of furniture. I am looking for a new thesis subject. We just met up for tea and a natter and a look around the museum. What are you suggesting?

Nothing at all. I went to the museum for the first time only a year ago and was really pleasantly surprised. I'm not a huge steam train buff but spent ages in there. I especially liked the cut in half engine where you could follow the processes through.

I love steam engines, traction engines too. They have a certain something about them that makes them more alive then any other form of engineering.

As you come through the door into the main engine hall it was north east I think.

The cutaway is very hypnotic to watch working. I notice the Flying Scotsman was naked in the workshop.
