Spoke to my sister last night, Oliver had his first telling off at nursery. His crime? Running and shouting! (after 3 warnings)
We can see the logic, there are smaller kids there, so over boisterousness needs to be kept an eye on, and it's better to train him now than let it get out of hand. But it seems like such a big step to growing up - to be old enough to be expected to behave in a certain way. It seems so tricky - you encourage and praise them for crawling, and then walking and talking, but then suddenly you have to draw a line.
Although she did say, when she turned up to collect him, he was especially smiley at her, like he knew he was going to be reported on. I think he's sharp enough to cope....
