Well, I must get home, and have some dinner, or I'll be here all night watching Ben Miller snogging Rob Brydon. Anyway, it's Richard Hammond on telly later....

Will my life ever stop being so sad, do you think?xx(

The only sane course of action? Tea. Who wants some?

Morning! Sorting out The Laydeez this morning brought a welcome surprise. Anode is back laying eggs after being off lay since the middle of December. I opened up ther hen house and there it was... a jewel of distinctly Anode-origin. In celebration The Laydeez have had some warm sweetcorn as a treat on top of their normal daily rations.

I've got a pot of spiced tea on the go. It's wonderfully *warming* and considering Chateau Wafflycat has been without central heating for the best part of a week and it's *cold* in the house (last night I wore gloves whilst sleeping). MrWC got up very early this morning to go off to the central heating repair shop to get the bits required to mend the system. This is now done and the CH is switched on - but it's going to take a bit of time to warm up the house properly.

Hope you get warm soon. I've been through the same recently and it is no fun  Still you know you have heat to look forward to now. The tea sounds delicious as well lol

I ate cake

They ate cake.

Or is it something like
cakeo
cakeas
cakeant
cakeamus
cakeatis
cakeant?

Isn't this one of those irregular verbs, something like:

I nibble a cake
He stuffs his face
They are gluttonous, overweight slobs

?

Things to do with a broken band saw blade. I've spent the morning making a giant sized wooden bow saw to use the broken band saw blade off my band saw. Seemed a waste to just bin the blade. The blade has given me a 35" saw with a spare blade. I shall test it out later cutting some logs.

But first, Tea!

I just had a double-portion of Lemon Drizzle Cake (courtesy of Mother-in-law) and a cracking cup of Tetley. Time for another Tetley now. Anyone envious?

ooh, yes.

Can't complain though, I had a rather nice French Tart on Saturday. Well half each of two different ones - one Citron, one Poire. And Mum bought me a bag of smoked almonds.
