Saturn 5 rockets, yes. As in the big noisy things with Apollo on the top

Is it true they couldn't set up to build them again now if they wanted, because someone threw the plans away when the Shuttle started.

Tea, anyone? And I'm happy to risk some experimental brownie...

Experimental brownie on the way to all the willing guinea pigs. Tell me what you think of the dried cranberries. Is it a good combination?

So I've heard, but I don't know if it's true.
Wouldn't surprise me unduly though.

Mmm, nice idea.

Was mine meant to have the turkey and stuffing in it as well?

Cranberries, hmm, I'm really taking off now I've started to like raisins... I found myself looking at muesli in Sainsburys yesterday. Didn't buy any, but I did look.

Woo hoo! I just plotted the ride I did last week on my own, on here:

http://www.cycle-route.com/Cycle-Route-Planner.html

and the 38 miles I worked out with a bit of string on the map, turned out to be more like 44. I think using yarn was my problem - it stretches so you don't get an accurate conversion.

Just did a route I was planning for this weekend, and it reckons it's over 50...

Really should splash out on a battery for my computer.... And find the computer bit...

Mornings!
Took advantage of the clear sky last night and watched the Space Station go past. Had an excellent view of it for nearly 5 minutes. It's only visible from the UK for another few days (till the next time...).

My manager would like to make it permanent, but there's all sorts of budget issues that means she can't advertise the post at the moment. In the meantime, we're spinning it out one way or another for as long as possible.

What does it look like as it goes past? Is it just a bright light travelling faster than the stars? (offers apologies for silly question)
