How was the rest of the ride Hulver?
Hilly.

It was pretty lovely really. Nice a warm, good company, down some great hills. I've never even driven to the top of Mam Tor, so to cycle to the top of it was great.
A nice pint in Hope, then a bit of a slog home, the climb out of Hathersage is very long.
Got home around midnight, and I was exhausted. My longest ever ride on this bike. I slept well last night.

It's, what, 1 in 4 or thereabouts?
1 in 5 I think (20%), though it feels like 1 in 1 at some points.

Once I stop on a hill on a bike, I'm walking, because I simply can't get the momentum to get going again and stay upright, in my lowest gear. Not a problem on three wheels (although there is of course, more weight to shift). And once you're over the top, the descent! Oh boy!![]()
I'm seriously considering getting one. I'm getting quite bad back ache on longer rides, and nice comfy sofa of a bike is looking appealing
