Evening all! Any tea on the go. I'm parched.

I'm pleased to report that Arch and I successfully completed our first sportive yesterday and had a great day. It was helped by the excellent catering provision - it would have been rude not to have had our fill of tea and cakes:biggrin: (and pie and chips at the end:tongue:). Follow that with a trip to an ice cream parlour today and you've got a pretty good weekend, guilt-free as we've cycled it all off:biggrin:.

Crumbs it's busy in here this evening, is there room for me on the sofa?

I hope there will be lots of photos of the Camping weekend, and hope there was no lurking with intent.

I was planning to be out this evening. An outdoor performance of a Story about the Thames, but it is too wet, the evening that is, not the Thames.

Tea? or something slightly stronger?

Not quite a race, but a mass, organised bike ride/event. There were 500 of us cycling round the Yorkshire Wolds. We were overtaken by wave after wave of lycra-clad roadies:blush:.
