Neddy the Elephant packed his trunk and said goodbye to Gloucestershire.

I found out what happened to the tractor.
Transaxle out.

Into the workshop and opened up, all looks fine and still works with nothing broken.

Opps!

I guess all the bits of shrapnel jammed the diff so I still had drive and all the gears working.

:cuppa: while I think about a solution.

Blimey NT, that's a lotta loose teeth!

Exciting news! I've just had a Magnum Mini. :hungry:

Busy day, lots of walking about, intensive playing, and testing a car-boot purchased tent. Plus, plenty of :cuppa:

I'm not sure I have a use, or space, for any teabag material, thank you all the same.

I'm not planning to camp, no. The tent is a '6 man' tent for the family, and the garden isn't quite big enough to get it fully assembled and pegged out!

We did have space to check it worked, and then colour code the poles to make it easier next time.

And Oli drew a tractor earlier, as a present for someone....

My first ever welded diff! Never welded a diff before, never been that much of a nutter boy racer hot rodder before.

Stuck, yes, although I think Live Axle is the more usual term.
Fine on loose stuff (the inside wheel will just spin a bit) or if you corner really hard you can lift the outside wheel and that will spin instead. IIRC Quad bikes do that sort of thing.
