I've had a bit of a chocolate/sugar thing going on for the past couple of days so the thought of anything sweet makes my teeth itch. Bad timing, really, as I'm being knocked out on Monday to have 6 teeth removed (4 wisdom + 2).

Good luck for Monday, I better not offer you one of these Choccy Digestives then
Mind you, if that's you in your avatar we need to feed you up a bit to fit in with the rest of the 'tea' gang ;)

Just finished the tiling.

Not all of it you understand I will do the 'cuts' tomorrow. (after a ride that is)

Thanks Archie, I took your tip and started one row in from the edge, and as it has panned out it is just as well I did.
I worked away from the door though 'cos the kitchen is a very odd shape and I also wanted to centre the tiles across the door way.

Can't use the kitchen now for around 3 hours so it's a takeaway. Yummy.
Who fancies a curry ? Fish and chips? Chinky? How about a Thai? .............and naturally a glass or two of the red falling down water.

I have a very hectic afternoon planned. Alternating watching the cycling race on tv*, and sitting in the garden.

* I think I have pressed all the right buttons, in the correct order, on the dvd player, so it should record.

Hope everyone is having a lovely day, tiling, cycling, coping with distractions, and eating cakey items.

There are a couple of longish tunn els on this route, TransPennine also seems to mean 'Through Pennine'. Still, thanks to he relatively built up nature of the route, the mobile broadband signal is better than it was going down to Winchester...

Had a really lovely day today. Got together with a couple I met in Canada for a walk in the Dales in the sunshine rounded off with tea, cake and Wensleydale . We had great fun reliving our big trips last year and reminiscing about all the punctures I had on the Icefields Parkway.

Oh that reminds me, I will be walking in to work tomorrow, as I have a puncture on the summer hack, which I picked up on Friday on the way home and didn't have time to fix.

I do have two other bikes in the flat, but the winter hack is so heavy I can't be bothered to lug it back down for one day, and the Galaxy has a flat anyway.

D'oh!

Any tea going? I'm shattered after doing SITD :tired:
143 participants and another 40 or so did the shorter route.

That 5 mile hill near the end almost finished me off

Watching the final part of Monroe, and eating Cornetto's
