:hugs:for NT, I can confirm the M60 was rammed around the Traffic centre earlier, fortunately I was going the other way.
On return journey the queue had miraculously switched around

I might have accidently had an All day brunch followed by chocolate fudge cake with ice cream in Weatherspoons

Excuse me a minute....

:banghead:

Right, that's better.

NT, darling, do you think you could avoid any more injuries this week? ;)

That does look horribly sore! See if I can give you a hug without standing on it...:hugs:

Yes, that worked.

Everyone at work sends get well wishes.

For reaching your toes, can you tie a bit of sponge onto a stick or something? I'm sure you'll have invented all sorts of useful gadgets by the time you're out of plaster.

And be careful posting pics of nearly your sexy knees all over the place. You'll give Speicher a fit of the vapours.

I'm dealing with it all (and a tiresome day at work) in the best way I know how. Reduced cake from Sainsburys. And :cuppa:

Can I have a :banghead: too?
Am attempting to fit a set of mudguards to the CX bike, never done it before, there's lots of 'bits' and not many destructions
Might need plenty of :cuppa:to keep me calm.

Oh, and if anybody sees Lisa tell her I'm not speaking to her :reading:

Potsy, the long curvy plastic bit goes around the wheel, at the top side.

I found a profiterole dessert reduced, to 99p. Thought I'd treat myself.

Further on, found a box of 2 chocolate eclairs, for 49p. So I put the first thing back, and now I have double the amount of cake.

Arch, I am really sorry. I do feel awful about it given that this time last year I ended up in hospital on your birthday.

I am now settled on the sofa and using the office chair as my transport system in the room, easier on my hip joints then the crutches. I am not going to do anything else risky beyond having a shower.

The pain has been really bad over the last hour or so I had to give up and try to sleep through it. It feels like someone is kicking the back of my calf muscle whist whittling my toe with a giant pencil sharpener. In the end I also wimped out of injecting myself with anti-coagulant, to prevent DVT, and had to ask my Dad to do it for me.

Feeling quite low now.

Big hugs to you. :hugs:

Don't apologise. You couldn't help it. Stuff happens. In sickness and in health, remember?

I will be over next weekend for my birthday, and we will have cake, and watch films and relax. And when you're out of plaster, we'll go and camp at my sister's, and have my birthday all over again, with small boys thrown in.

Deal?

Deal!
I think we need a mildly outraged raised eyebrow smiley....

I'm liking the idea of you scooting about on your office chair. I knew you'd start improvising pretty quickly!

:hugs::smooch::wub:
Well, the whole world, and America, has been treated to views of my knee and plaster cast, you can't begrudge the Wol when the cast comes off.;)

I will need to do a bit of floor clearing to make best use of the chair, I have run over, and knocked over, all sorts of stuff already.:giggle:

Have you fitted a motor and winch to the office chair yet NT?

Rear one done, doesn't look half bad for one of my bodge jobs, more tea then on to the front :cuppa:

It helps having guards on another bike already so I can quickly see how that one was done, properlyby the lbs

Don't give him ideas!!!!!! :stop:

That's what worries me most. Forced to rest a lot, he'll start Having Ideas.
;)^_^

I'm envisaging coloured tape laid out on the floor for various routes, and a robot on the base of the chair following the tape whenever he says "Kettle!" or "Desk!"
