Ammonia poor little sparrow!

Can I suggest we withdraw to the summerhouse, well away from the smell of dissolving seatpost?

It's a very, very wet morning in York-ish today. I got quite wet coming to work.

I looked out at the torrential rain, and got all togged up in waterproof coat and trousers. By the time I'd got downstairs, the rain had stopped, and by the time we actually set out on our round, the sun was out.

Fortunately I took the waterproofs with me, as we got caught in a downpour of hail and thunder an hour or so later.

I have swapped to my winter hack - I was just about to take it downstairs last night when I realised that it had no computer, and I've got rather addicted to logging my miles, so I had to bung one on quick (for some reason, I had one spare). It's not all that precise, but it'll do. The bike feels a bit odd - slightly different geometry, no toe clips. I think I need the saddle up a touch too.

Any tea left?

Morning!

Tea please. I am requiring a warm-up and a second cuppa. I'm having brekkie between laminating loads of A4 sheets for MrWC who is off to a bank meeting/presentation today. Then I've got to do the hens, then get ready to go off to shake the poppy tin.

Ooh, second tea of the day and it is before 9:00. Nice!!

Boss isn't in yet, sun is shining, sky is blue, and I had a good ride in. Feeling good today (so far).
