There are mitigating circumstances. I used to have a cat called Ollie, and now I have a cat called Leo. Please excuse the mistake. Leo would, however, enjoy playing with a train set. He might chase the wagons for a bit, then fall asleep in the middle of the track.

The shop that had the knitted Christmas tree last year, will, I am reliably informed, have a knitted Noah's Ark this year. Memo to self re: taking camera to secure photographic evidence.

Ah ha! I wonder if they have the same pattern I do...

Tigers, snakes, camels, chimps and penguins added since then. Just Pandas and Toucans to add now, although I may go off piste and do ostriches for this Christmas.

It is, isn't it? It's all in the pattern really.

I'm thinking for nibling number two, I might design a farm. A friend has a pattern in a book, so if all else fails I'll adapt that, but the animals aren't quite as good. I reckon I can adapt zebras to horses, cows etc,

From VintageKnitting.co.uk which can be sent in pdf or photocopy for two Earth Pounds approx. I am sure you will have fun finding exactly the right pattern.

Actually, the tigers I did recently for the Ark were just the lady lion, knitted in orange and black stripes..... That was fun for my eyes, especially as I was doing them at the same time I was doing the big database table editing job, which was all lines of data...

At this rate, you'll soon be weightless. A week later, we have a working antigravity generator...
(Yes, I know it's largely water retention you lose first off, but that's a bit dull...)

I know, I know. The loss should settle to an average of a couple of pounds a week. Mind you, when I stick rigidly to WW to lose rather than maintain, I tend to average 3lbs a week long term.

Morning all been up since 7am cleaning, bathroom done, bedroom done having breakfast before tackling the rest of the house. Funny how I have neglected the housework since starting the horticultural course. We have laundry that's been piling up since two weeks ago, that we are having difficulty shifting due to lack of drying room.

Oh well time for a nice cup of tea. :-)

I find I do more cleaning when I'm studying. Something to do with displacement activity...
