Got a text from my sister, saying "what you doing?" I thought, I bet she's bored. Texted back, "mooching about town, how are you?" and she rang and said.. "I'm bored!"

Still, she may well go home today, and all is well with both of them. And she's had some tea at least!

And Daddy was bathing Oli, and left him unattended for a moment.... And came back to find him emptying cupfulls of water onto the bathroom floor....;)

Hmm, ready for more tea, I think...

Bless, my sister said Daddy now fully appreciates just what goes into a day looking after a 2 year old. Not that he thought it was easy, but he's just not used to it.

I've just had sausage, mash and beans. Gourmet grub!

Evenings!!

A while back I replaced the saddle on my Brommie with a more comfy one with a built-in light. One of Asda's finest, and I liked it:biggrin: Buoyed up by this success, I have just replaced the handlebars. This was one of those jobs that started simple:smile: and just growed:sad:
I started off wanting to add bar ends.
The ones I found came with grips:wacko:. No worries, new grips are good. Oh - they're longer than the originals:ohmy: And I can't move the levers because I run out of straight bit of bar:angry:
One major fettle later...

The bars are now 3 inches lower. The whole feel of the bike has been transformed - it's more stable, less skittish and it feels faster. And it still folds and fits in the original bag!!!!
The photos are a bit rubbish though. I blame the poor flash and Photobucket's auto-fix not being all that clever.

I hope not, it's what I've got on my FCR...

I remember sitting in the pub with Mike Burrows and saying I'd swapped the flat bars for risers, he punched my arm and said "why did you do that?" (him having designed the thing). "Because it suits me better" I said, and he said "Oh, that's ok then..."

Mike Burrows washed my shorts once.

I had a wee in his loo once. And he gave me some directions to get back to Rackheath.
I was lost within ten minutes or so.
