Bit quiet in here today. After 36hrs of rain here we now have some of that shiny thing in the sky today. So I've been for a ride. Now I suppose I'd better get something done around the house before Mrs 26x25 gets back. She's a hard task master mistress

I'll accept all the sympathy I can get (this IS a hint  )

First things first - Tea anyone?

Ah well I managed to harvest Sweet Corn, Broccolli, Tomatoes and Plums for Tea. We only managed the Sweet Corn and some of the plums - the rest will get eaten soon. So no Brownie Points lost

Have a good trip to Leicester Arch.

Mornign all. You ever have one of those days when you know that it's just not going to be a good one? Mine has started. This morning I was woken by the sound of a cat vomiting on the carpet and once I'd rushed up to clean it off & dispose of the offending ick, I went to check on Anode and discovered that antibiotics have a terrible effect on her innards, having to clean up a lake of poo from her pen. xx(

Yup, one of those days....

But just think of the compost for the garden waffles

I got bitten in the night. T'is itchy as hell. I blame the cat for bringing in fleas. But I can't find any fleas on her  Does that mean I've got my own  Or has she sacrificed all hers for my benefit  Frontline anyway ..............

Awwwww. Teh Cuteness!!

Always a good source of LOLZ and fluffeh, is Cheezburger.

Excuse me! Do you think we could perhaps restrict ourselves to English in this thread! ;)

Just back from Leicester and the Skyride - it was a bit blowy. Just the day to be trying to erect and pull down marquees and gazebos.

Having a much needed tea - the last one was at 10am!

And who appointed Arch as Keeper of English Linguistics, might one enquire???

A colleague of mine pronounces Gaz-ee-bows as Gay-zee-bows. A notion that has stuck amongst us....

I did. Yougottaproblemwivthat?

Right, I should go to bed now. Work tomorrow, the delights of Etty Avenue. Imagine an 'avenue' and then replace the leafy surburban trees with gardens full of old prams and nappies.
