Sorry to say that I cannot help you out with the Magner's cider. I tried it once, and diplomatically I would say I will not be trying it again.

I could help you with the biscuits, particularly if they are dark choc digestives or custard creams.

Just a thought, are all the presents for you? None for Puma and Arbuckle?

The cats get spoilt enough, all the pressies are for human consumption

I like a nice pint of Magners/Bulmers with plenty of ice, nice and refreshing in the Summer especially.
May have the odd drink of vodka and Coke, or Southern comfort but that's about it.

Drive by mince pies? Is this like a drive thru Macdonalds?

Be nice, wouldn't it?
'Can I have two deep fill mince pie meals please, one with lattice top the other with puff pastry. Both with tea and large side of double cream. Cheers.'

Arch you looked perfectly fine in the last picture I saw of you, you can carry on with the regular 'tea fare' and can ignore us lot eating celery in 2011

She still is.

The first time I saw, and met, Arch she was walking and I was in a recumbent trike following slightly behind her and she certainly looked fine then, especially from that angle!

I'm also a Cider drinker.
I only have two bottles of Bulmers left on the fridge, going to have to get some more to see me through, no ice for me though. I also drink Aberlour at the moment, not too keen on Vodka.

Apparently Tesco have the £5 for 8 pint bottles of Bulmers offer on at the minute, I'll be getting some soon to keep me going over Xmas, then I won't drink for 6 months unless it's a special occasion

It is surprising how many calories there are in alcohol, unfortunately.

I like white and rosé wine, and whiskey and lager, like Stella. No  not all in the same glass, that would be silly.

There are three bottles of wine in the house, some spirits and a bottle of my mother's favourite sherry.

233 calories in each pint of Bulmers

Apparently Bulmers and Magners are the same drink just labelled differently for different markets

I'm sure there is a bit of a taste difference between the 2, but I would always buy Bulmers as it is usually cheaper

I currently have
2 bottles of white wine
2 big bottles of Magners
1 bottle vodka
2 bottles of Bacardi (Mrs Potsy's)
1 Southern Comfort

Blimey I'm an alcoholic

Thanks for the tip, Potsy, I shall head over to Tescos.

I also have a bottle of Russian Champagne. That might need to be consumed over the next few weeks, before it goes off. I am sometimes given bottles of red wine, but I do not like red wine, I suppose I could use that in a casserole ors schumthing.

OOOhh look at the time, time for me to say good night. :hello:

<Dick Emery voice>

Oooh, you are awful!

But I like you....

Oh god, does anyone else remember Dick Emery? I'm showing my age there...

I've just made some tea.

We had some mince pies given to us yesterday, and warmed them up by sitting them in their foil dishes on the woodburning stove. They were fine, apart from having black bottoms...

Oh heck, we're back to me in my cycling shorts again!

<hoik!>

Nearly fell of the bottom of page 1...

I've given in and got my other fan heater out. Hang the expense. I've got one on one side heating my feet and the other the other side, pointing up at my body.

mmm, just had a pasty and mash for dinner. Ready for another cup of tea now.

Managed to get into town this afternoon, as Pete wanted to shut the Velo Vision office early. So I found a pair of waterproof trousers for my Mum - she'd looked in Blacks, but they only had top spec technical ones, at £50, and she only wants them to wear in the garden. Found some (childrens, but big enough) in the discount camping shop, £9.99...

Right, I'll put that kettle on...
